Design Student Intern - High School

If you think your skills, experience and aspirations make you a good match for this position, we encourage you to apply.    ABOUT THE ROLE This internship will work under the supervision of a Licensed Architect and project leadership, providing students with an opportunity to be a member of our multi-disciplinary team.    HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Participate in and observe the design process.
• Participate in the review of construction phase documentation.
• Attend project, team and office meetings.
• Explore various software platforms such as Revit, the Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Sketch-up, and Grasshopper. 
• Assist with building physical building models.
• Assist with product research.
• Attend in-house project team meetings.
• May perform other duties as required.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Must be a recent High School graduate with a strong interest in pursuing a degree in the AEC industry.
• Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, and organizational skills are preferred.

The salary range for this position to be filled in the Chicago office is $17.95 to $20.25 per hour. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
