 ADP is hiring a Senior Analyst on the Operations Strategy TeamAs a Senior Analystyou will play a critical role in shaping our organization’s business strategy by delivering timelydata-driven insights on competitors, industry trends, and emerging threats and opportunities. You will manage the firm’s competitive intelligence function—working closely with senior leadership, strategy teams, and functional leads—to ensure our go to market approach is informed, differentiated, and future ready. You will use a blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong business acumen, as well as the ability to translate complex information into compelling narratives to guide leadership decisions. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Competitive & Market Analysis 

Lead ongoing monitoring and deep dive analyses of competitors’ offerings, pricing, market moves, organizational changes, partnerships, and public communications. 

Develop and maintain competitive battlecards, fact packs, and briefings for use across sales, strategy, and functional teams. 

Conduct root cause analyses on competitive wins/losses and identify patterns, risks, and corrective actions. 

 

Strategic Insight & Thought Leadership 

Deliver forward looking insights on market trends, disruptors, innovations, and shifts in demand. 

Partner with internal strategy teams to shape the firm’s strategic direction, value propositions, and differentiation opportunities. 

Prepare executive level reports and presentations that influence major investment decisions. 

 

Cross Functional Collaboration 

Work closely with industry and service line leaders to tailor intelligence outputs to their priorities. 

Support business development teams with competitive positioning for major pursuits. 

Collaborate with functional teams to ensure messaging reflects real-time business dynamics. 

 

Knowledge Management & Governance 

Maintain a centralized repository of competitive intelligence assets and ensure data accuracy, version control, and accessibility. 

Establish and refine research methodologies, intake processes, and quality standards for intelligence gathering. 

Ensure ethical and compliant competitive intelligence practices in alignment with legal and professional guidelines. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

 

  • 5–8 years of experience in competitive intelligence, strategic analysis, management consulting, or corporate strategy. 
  • Track record of solving complex problems by applying advanced analytical thinking, incorporating insights from multiple information sources, and offering fresh perspectives on existing solutions. 
  • Proven ability to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable recommendations. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing suite level deliverables 
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. 
Qualifications

Preferred  Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross functional alignment. 
  • Familiarity with CI platforms, market databases, and advanced research tools.  
  • Master’s degree (MBA or related discipline).
