About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated B usiness Analyst with expertise in Finance and Accounting and, in particular, experience with migrations or upgrades of ERP systems . In this role, you will serve as a critical bridge between business objectives and technological solutions—delivering data-driven insights, translating business needs into clear documentation.
This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role, perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and brings a continuous improvement mindset.
What will you be doing?- Support a major ERP Upgrade/Migration project, focused on increasing throughput and delivery efficiency
- Own requirements end-to-end: discovery, documentation, validation, testing, and delivery
- Act as a self-directed BSA, managing tasks from start to finish with minimal hand-holding
- Work closely with Finance stakeholders, SMEs, and the core project team to understand current-state processes
- Lead current-state (AS-IS) to future-state (TO-BE) process mapping, translating business needs into clear functional outcomes
- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Developers to clarify functional vs technical requirements
- Write clear functional specifications that developers can execute against
- Partner with fast-moving development teams and keep pace with rapid delivery cycles
- Apply financial acumen to ensure solutions align with accounting, ERP, and finance workflows
- Support testing activities, including validation of requirements and business acceptance
- Contribute to change management activities, including user readiness and impact assessment
- Provide training or knowledge transfer when required
- Act as a strong communicator and bridge between business and technology (not deeply technical, but comfortable engaging with developers)
Requirements
What you bring/have experience with:- Strong Business Analyst experience (Business requirements, Functional requirements, Design documentation)
- Experience working with Finance and Accounting with an understanding of modules such as General Ledger (GL), Sub-Ledgers, Chart of Accounts, Transactions, Business Units, Legal Entities
- Experience in analyzing the data and file interface specifications
- Have participated in an ERP Digital Transformation i.e. upgrade or migrations ideally
- University degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business System Analyst Role supporting finance departments required
