Associate Patient Services Specialist - Patient Access at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts

Performs all registration functions for patients. This includes collecting accurate demographic information, verifying insurance benefits and eligibility, obtaining authorization/precertification for services provided, and collecting patient liability prior to or at the time of service. Greets and serves patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Some college or certificate courses.
  • Experience in hospital registration or healthcare setting.
  • Experience utilizing medical terminology in job setting.
  • Experience with Meditech/A4 system.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position.  The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
