About the Role
Join the team at our busy Neilson Street container depot in Onehunga. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to build a long‑term career in the shipping container industry. You’ll be responsible for repairing rusted or damaged containers, flat racks, and equipment using welding, cutting, painting, and light fabrication techniques, all to industry and IICL standards.
- Days and Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, Saturday as required, 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Location: Neilson Street Depot, Onehunga
What We’re Looking For
- Skills: Welding, steel cutting, painting, and/or light fabrication experience
(Or recently completed a welding certificate —or a great opportunity for entry-level or school leavers)
- Attitude: Motivated, hardworking, and willing to learn
- Teamwork: Able to work well with others in a busy environment
- Safety: Strong commitment to safe work practices and following procedures
- Flexibility: Able to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced depot environment

Requirements
