Job Summary:

The Controller oversees all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, ensuring accuracy, GAAP compliance, and strong financial performance. The role also provides required financial reporting to TASI Measurement and Berwind. The Controller supervises both the Accounting Manager and Human Resources Manager.

Reporting directly to the Senior Managing Director, the Controller works closely with the leadership team and serves as a liaison across all company functions. The role ensures that policies and procedures support efficiency, safety, continuous improvement, employee engagement, and strategic company goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Support leadership, project leaders, and event leaders with financial analysis and decision making.
  • Supervise the Accounting Manager and ensure the accounting team members are properly trained, including cross-training for essential functions.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial data required by TASI Measurement.
  • Produce internal financial reports, trends, and variance analyses.
  • Lead preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
  • Oversee Accounting and Human Resource operations.
  • Prepare for and lead internal and external accounting audits.
  • Month end close, journal entries, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Ensuring accuracy of inventory systems, cycle counts, and physical inventory.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with TASI Measurement and Berwind.

Other Responsibilities:

  • All other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Have proven experience in Accounting or Finance in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain current knowledge through ongoing training and education.
  • Remain up to date on relevant regulations and laws.

Physical Demands:

  • The role involves computer-based tasks, with flexibility to work seated or standing.
  • The employee may be required to travel occasionally. Travel may involve overnight stays/air travel/driving a vehicle.
