We are open to considering a consult-focused Veterinary Surgeon with a medicine bias and minimal interest in surgery. We understand that every vet brings unique strengths, and we’re happy to tailor the role to suit your clinical interests.
Our well-appointed practice features:
Three consult rooms
Dedicated surgical theatre
X-ray and dental suites
Modern diagnostic equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab with up-to-date analysers
Access to external laboratory services and clinical support when needed
We are offering:
A full-time role: 40 hours across 4 days per week
1 in 6 weekend rota at our Dearne Valley 24-Hour Hospital

Relocation package available for those moving from outside the UK or more than 60 miles within the UK

About you
You’re a qualified MRCVS with a passion for clinical excellence and client care. You’re a team player who wants to make a real difference in a practice that values and supports you.
What you’ll be doing
Typically, in this role, you’ll:
- Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients in consults and surgery to the highest standards of regulatory, practice and operational compliance
- Develop tailored treatment plans with clients
- Work collaboratively within a supportive team
- Share your skills and support our Medivet communities’ development
