This role involves close collaboration with architects across Mechanical, Thermal, Signal Integrity, and Electrical domains to assess layout feasibility. The responsibilities extend to full implementation, including coordination with Manufacturing for DFx considerations. Beyond hands-on layout work, the role also includes mentoring and guiding the broader ECAD team.
In this role you would be responsible for full implementation, including coordination with Manufacturing for DFx considerations.You will be part of world class Optical HW R&D team and would be involved in end-to-end feasibility and implementation of cutting-edge optical PCB layouts. You would be working with global cross functional teams and PCB manufacturer, assembly houses.
- 15 years’ experience in ECAD layout
- Has lead multiple complex layout end to end
- Knowhow of Cadence and Mentor Graphics tool chain
- Understand PCB Stack-up, various materials and constrains
- Very good understanding of DFx
- Worked on complex boards, telecom boards are preferred
- Had through understanding of process, checklists.
- Has contributed to process improvement.
- Flexible in working across time-zones
- Good in communication
- Working knowledge of MS office tools
