What's the role?
We are looking for an experienced Boilermaker to join the Northwest Qube team for our Pilbara Port operations.
What are we offering?
- Based in Port Hedland – Utah Point
- Permanent, full-time positions
- 7:7 roster day shift – 12 hour days
- Residential role for locally-based applicants
- Competitive hourly rate + Super paid on all hours
To be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:
- Suitable Trade Qualification or Certification
- Demonstrated working experience with heavy vehicles & heavy machinery
- National Police Clearance (within 6 months validity) – or ability to obtain one
- Trade Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker)
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- High Risk Work Licence highly desirable but not mandatory
- Working at Heights ticket highly desirable but not mandatory
- Confined Space Entry ticket highly desirable but not mandatory
- Gas Testing Atmospheres ticket, highly desirable but not mandatory
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Must have prior experience in ports, heavy transport or mining environments
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
