Billing & Vendor Specialist
in Accounts Receivable
Randolph, MA
May Institute is looking for a detail-driven Billing & Vendor Specialist to ensure accurate client billing and timely vendor payments across our school and residential programs. This role is key to keeping our financial operations organized, compliant, and running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do
• Enter and reconcile billing data from activity logs
• Prepare adjusted billing for enrollments and discharges
• Run billing accuracy reports (days, rates, services)
• Prepare 1:1 staffing invoices for school districts and state agencies
• Track residential attendance and bed usage data
• Process vendor invoices and enter batches into the ERP system
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate approvals and ensure timely payments
• Partner with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams
• Maintain compliant documentation and protect confidential information
What You Bring
Required
• Associate’s degree
• 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
• Experience with billing systems/ERP software
• Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
• High attention to detail and strong organization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in education, healthcare, or human services billing
