Inspector

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Performed in-process and post-polishing inspections to meet customer and internal specifications.
• Addressed non-conformities promptly, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Collected and analyzed defect data to support continuous quality improvement.
• Inspection & Defect Identification
• Basic operation of IPC-related tools (microscopes, ionizers, HEPA benches, metrology tools).
• Knowledge in completing daily/weekly checklists 
• Accurately records inspection results, defect counts, lot history, and scrap details in inspection sheets or system.
• Supports data-driven reporting for daily yield, defect mapping, and process monitoring.
• Supports process validation through accurate data recording and analysis

 

Education & Experience

• Minimum Requirement: College level or equivalent (technical/vocational background preferred).
• Preferred: Vocational or technical training in manufacturing, machining, or related fields is an advantage but not required.
   

Skills

• Can interpret WPS, special instructions, specifications, and work instructions
• Knowledge in inspection and quality assurance
• Proficient in using precision measurement tools (microscope, digital calipers, micrometers, film thickness gauges, etc.).
• Proficient in data encoding and basic computer use

 

Working Conditions

• This role is 100% onsite
• Required standing for long periods and handling delicate optical parts.
•  Shifting operations with occasional Sunday overtime based on production demands.
