Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week Monday to Friday)
Contract: Permanent – 4 days in the field / office-based, with 1 day Work From Home opportunity
Salary: Competitive Salary - Dependent on experience
Location: Hybrid between Office in Farringdon / Chancery Lane (closest stations) and field-based and opportunity to work from home 1 day per week
Application Criteria
- Must reside within the M25 or within a reasonable commuting distance
- Hold WSET Level 2 and be of sufficient calibre and knowledge to undertake Level 3 with training
Role Purpose
To accelerate growth by identifying, securing, and nurturing high-value on-trade wine accounts. This role is central to expanding our footprint in hospitality venues and driving commercial success through tenacity, strategic thinking, and a hunger to win.

Consistently exceeding sales targets and KPIs through the acquisition of new accounts that align with our brand and values—driving profitable growth and strengthening our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Proactively seek out and convert new on-trade wine accounts (restaurants, bars, hotels).
- Lead prospecting activity with energy and persistence, including meetings, tastings, and tailored proposals.
- Maintain a robust pipeline to consistently exceed new business targets.
Account Management & Growth
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring retention and upselling opportunities.
- Deliver exceptional service, curate wine lists, and provide ongoing client support.
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and expand the product range.
Sales Strategy & Commercial Impact
- Collaborate with the Head of Sales to deliver against revenue and margin goals.
- Negotiate commercial terms with confidence and clarity.
- Use data and market insights to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Brand Representation & Events
- Represent the company and its producers at tastings, trade shows, and customer events.
- Deliver engaging wine training and education to clients and internal teams, supported by the broader on-trade team.
- Champion new launches and seasonal campaigns with creativity and enthusiasm.

You should be comfortable analysing data, managing spreadsheets, identifying trends, and anticipating potential challenges (expect interview questions on this).
