HR Generalist / HR Advisor

We’re looking for an experienced HR Generalist with a strong advisory mindset who can manage the full HR agenda from A to Z, while ensuring effective implementation and execution of both global and local HR policies and programs.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll act as a trusted HR partner and point of contact for managers and employees, providing both operational and advisory HR support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising managers on HR policies, labour law, and people matters.
• Implementing and executing global and local HR policies, ensuring compliance and consistency.
• Supporting the rollout of global HR initiatives, including performance, engagement, and development programs.
• Leading local implementation of HR processes such as onboarding, performance reviews, compensation cycles, and offboarding.
• Managing employment life cycle documentation including contracts, amendments, and HR system updates.
• Coordinating payroll input, benefits administration, and maintaining accurate HR data.
• Monitoring local legal requirements and ensuring timely alignment of internal practices.
• Serving as an advisor to employees on HR-related questions, well-being, and career development.
• Supporting managers with employee relations topics and facilitating fair and transparent outcomes.
• Contributing to local engagement, employer branding, and internal communication initiatives.
• Co-organizing company events that bring people together.
• Partnering with the global HR team to localize and execute key HR strategies and projects.

What We Expect From You

• At least 3 years of experience in a generalist or advisory HR role, ideally within an international or fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of the Slovak Labour Code and HR compliance.
• Proven ability to implement and execute HR policies and frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Slovak.
• Structured approach with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence in advising and influencing managers and employees.
• Strong sense of accountability and ability to work independently.
• Curiosity, proactivity, and a drive to improve processes and employee experience.
